Assignment 11

My favorite picture ive took all term this is the original version. The editted one is on the bottom all though it is edited it is not fully changed just minor tweeks here and there. I love this photo because it has a griddy yet inspirational twist to it. I feel like when i look at this photo, it describes life. It's a big dirty place but when you step back and look at the big picture and for what it really is, Its beautiful.

I did some minor tweeking such as burning & dodging parts i though should have came out stronger. I took this photo with a mirrol in mind.

Assignment #9

Repitition : I saw these and even though they are garbage cans it instantly caught my eye. I said hey there are some repition going on over there!  I wish i saw something that was a  bit more eye appealing but what can you do.

This is my contrast i love the grass against the pavement it shows up even more vibrantly than anything else would have. However i took a pretty good contrast shot at the quay but for some reason my pictures wont stay on the computer for me to uploud. Texture contrast ladys and gents.

This is my texture i love and picked this photo for a simple reason that you can see  three different types of texture! You got the soft dirt against the rough spiky surfaces. POOOFIIC

Angel i actaully pulled a dalice for this one i got low to the ground and aimed the camera up and it shot nearly perfectly in my EYES. I like it because such a little thing can pull so much power

Assignent #8

This is my amazing model kristy she is a great example of how i took my scale shot. you can see she is much smaller than the tree... or is the tree just really big. lets leave it as a mysterty DUN DUN
This would be my depth photography fail. I tried and tried and tried over again but nothing really stood out much from where i could see. Non the less heres my attempt.

"Framing" Look at my other beautiful model stephenie she looks like a little doll in a picture frame. At the quay there was so many different types of natural framing. Everywhere i looked i could see a good framing shot but i chose this one because it looks like shes is in a light house. It brings my attention in dearly.

Simplicity.,I adore this photograph mainly because its so cute looking and just simple not to much thinking required but when you look at it, you  can not help but to think about a nice sea breeze in your face the vibrent colours draw your attention in even more. Everything just pops! I always believe that the bright colours and the way they contrast against eachother is simply just adorable.

LOUUUD

LOUUD. So this assignment is called loud & what is more loud than a constant dump truck and skytrain tracks waking you up every morning. New west is not only amazing for the hills the amount of huge trucks that drive through make the neighbour hood just peachy.  This picture makes the word loud pop for me just by looking at it because i deal with the noise on a daily bases. I would be wrong to say that i hate it i kinda of like the noise it makes me feel like i live in a very busy city and everyone is so important here. Makes me feel like i have my life together in a strange way. But there ya have it ladys & gentalmen LOUD. Hope it was music to your ears.

Assignment #7 Rule of thirds

This is the rule of thirds i tried to capture it but since im still learning and just begging i dont think its quite as good as i wanted it to come out but hey thats what this class is about. When i look at the picture sometimes i feel theres to much water in the front but also from another look i like how much water is in the photograph because it puts the main objects where i want them for the rule of thirds. There could be some nice editing done to this to perfect it but for the time frame i am working with it is not easy to do so for now this is my tug boat his name is bob look away.
This birdy picture is my favorite picture i have ever taken in my life i love the bird i love the clouds i love everything about this picture i could move the birth a bit to hit the rule of thirds but lets get seriouse this is more of a practing class then learn and automatically knowing how to shoot this and line it more properly
This picture however reminds me of the old school ninto 64 video games ! mario to be exact there little mushrooms but i like this picture because everything is set perfectly for me ! I also love the colours in it

Assignment #7 Leading lines

These three pictures are my example of leading lines. I like this picture because when i saw it i just knew i liked it and wanted to capture it. My eyes actaully followed the line to the end its pretty cool because i would never have spotted this out before photography class. It would have been stronger if the people on the left were not in the photo it kind of drags you off so i would def change that. I love the bride and skytrain at the end something to actaully look at, i also really like the type of day if it was sunny it would look kind of stupid it wouldn't look old and kind of rustic which i was going for so the lighting of it keeps it dim.
So for these buildings i really liked them and it was just perfect when i turned my shoulder i saw it this is also a leading lines attempt. I relly think that i could have done a better job maybe by angling it a bit better or possitioning myself more appropiatly but all around i like the picture and i personally think it is a good attempt and photograph

Dont mind the filthy water of this picture this is also a leading lines photo i like this picture because of the angle i took it in. Its more on a slant which i think brings you in too look at the leading lines of the photo in more detail it kind of makes the picture just POP! I like the sunny blue sky day with a little hint of clouds it brightens the picture up because the lower half of it is well pretty dang gloomy!
